WSOU has always been the one radio station where you could hear the heaviest music from the local underground music scene and has served a launching pad for some of the greatest bands and musicians ever to come out of Jersey.

from 8:00 - 10:00 PM on www.wsou.net or 89.5 FM.

STREET PATROL is home for local and unsigned acts.  It's one of the longest running specialty shows on WSOU dedicated to local and upcoming artists.

Bands that mail in their CD will go through YANK or CRANK.  Yank or Crank is when one song is played from a band and the callers will decide whether it should stay or go.  Once you've sent in your CD, make sure your fans and friends are listening from 8:00 - 10:00 PM on Wednesday nights because they must call in while the song is playing and tell them to CRANK IT!
